Consider becoming a member of The Old Church. Since 1969, the hard work and generosity of our members have restored this rare example of Carpenter Gothic architecture to near-original condition.
But the work is ongoing; a historic building like The Old Church requires consistent maintenance and repair. In the past decade, we’ve recovered the pew cushions and restored the classic Hook and Hastings tracker-action pipe organ. We’ve re-carpeted the auditorium: a favorite location for weddings, concerts and other activities. We’ve also restored the front steps, and refurbished the kitchen and ladies’ room. We’ve painstakingly restored the historic Povey Brothers “Lily” stained-glass window to its original condition. Our most recent achievement is our “Access for Everyone!” campaign, which made The Old Church fully accessible to disabled members of our community.
